This Kimono Jacket was made for my 1913 evening gown, based on an original dress that is part of the collection of the Museum of Art, Architecture and Design in Oslo. You can download it down below for free. It is a hand-drawn pattern that only comes in my size.
Please note: This was not made to be worn by itself, but with several pieces underneath. You will have to add a piece to the back to prevent the jacket from sliding off your shoulder or attach it to something beneath. Mine is attached to the corset cover beneath with snaps. Also, the placement for the front closure is not included in the pattern.
I do not provide you with instructions for the pattern, but I have written several blogposts and made videos on this project. In case you would like to have some sort of “instructions” you can consult them. Just click on the images below to open the post/video you would like to read/watch.
